Phonak 5.0 Receivers and Unitron 5.0 Receivers

Description

Phonak 5.0 receivers are the same as Unitron 5.0 receivers. Phonak and Unitron are part of the Sonova Group and share Receivers, Domes and Filters.

Phonak and Unitron 5.0 Receivers – Compatibility

• Phonak 5.0 Receivers replace Phonak / Unitron 4.0 Receivers.
• Phonak 4.0 receivers used Cerushield Filters, which proved to be challenging!
• Phonak 5.0 Receivers use Cerustop Filters, which are much easier to change.

Like Phonak 4.0 Receivers, the new Phonak 5.0 Receivers have three pins that slot into the hearing aid and are locked in place by a pin.

Phonak 5.0 receivers are compatible with:

• Phonak Audeo Hearing Aids, Marvel, Fit, Lumity, Infinio, Paradise, Slim and Life.
• Unitron RIC  Hearing Aids, Smile Vivante, Blu, Discover Next and Discover.

Phonak 5.0 receiver power levels

Phonak 5.0 Receivers (receiver speaker wires) are available in three power levels:

• standard (S)
• moderate (M)
• power (P)

Phonak 5.0 receiver wire length guide

There are four lengths of receiver wire: 0, 1, 2 and 3

• 0 = 42 mm (~1.5 to 2.3 cm ear canal distance)
• 1 = 45 mm (~2.3 to 2.7 cm ear canal distance)
• 2 = 47-50 mm (~2.7 to 3.2 cm ear canal distance)
• 3 = 47-50 mm (~2.7 to 3.2 cm ear canal distance)

Ear canal distance = the physical measurement from the top corner of your ear helix down to the opening of your ear canal.

• Blue receiver wire = Left
• Red receiver wire = Right

Phonak 5.0 receiver compatible filters / domes

Phonak 5.0 receivers use Cerustop Filters and Phonak and Unitron 4.0 Domes.
